Remember when watches were less complicated? When they really made you feel like a gentleman, and would use plastic as part of the construction over the dead bodies of already long dead Swiss watch makers. Those were the days! Not that I personally remember those days, but I feel as though I can just taste them a bit when experiencing watches like the replica Ulysse Nardin watches  Classico watch. If it was released in 1950, it would have instead been called something like the “Modernico.” The brand has come all the way from the uber complex and avant garde Freak watch, so this humble looking Classico. I would venture to say that the most distinguishing part of the watch is the brand logo with anchor. Aside from that it is just a nice looking, classic conservative watch.

Although the watch is classic in style, it has many of the things we demand in a modern watch. This includes a date complication, high accuracy UN-815 automatic movement that has been COSC Chronometer certified (and in-house made by fake watch Ulysse Nardin, a reasonable 40mm wide case in either 18k rose or white gold, and an easy to read style. The rod style hour indicators are quite easy to read mixed with the bare dial. If you want something a bit more fancy, you can opt for the blue textured dial version with a mix of Roman numeral and rod hour markers.

Watches like this are a mental return back to horological simplicity. It isn’t hard to appreciate the watch. The luxury lover in you will like the gold and fine construction. The mechanical enthusiast in you will enjoy the finely made movement with 22k gold automatic rotor, and everyone can appreciate the Classico for being an easy to live with, sober looking timepiece. Further, while price hasn’t been announced yet, I have a feeling the watch will be reasonably priced for what you get. For the right people, the Ulysse Nardin Classico watches are easy to love, and they have likely made up their mind already about getting one.

Introduced in 18-karat white gold, the Ulysse Nardin Classico Lady measures 35mm in diameter, and features bezel and lugs set with rows of round brilliant diamonds. This opulent presentation serves as an appropriate surrounding for breathtaking kiln-fired enamel dials set with diamonds. Unique creations of the master artisan, these dials depict delicate and fanciful birds with splendid plumage. The brilliant colors of these enamels are matched to richly colored straps in hand-sewn alligator leather. White gold winding crowns are accented by a row of blue sapphire cabochons.

This little number came out a few years ago, but a few are available floating around on the net. A watch like this is the very definition of fake militarism and merely attempted style. Apparently camouflage isn’t out of style, at least where ever most Replica Ulysse Nardin watches are sold. This limited edition of 50 pieces watch takes everything you know about the Maxi Marine Diver and tries to hide the dial! Naw, you can still see it. I must admit camouflage looks sorta cool, even on a watch, but more in a gimmicky sense. I simply can’t stomach the idea of taking a luxury dive watch, and making just the dial (or any of it really) “camoued” out.

Ulysse Nardin tried to further “harden” the look by making 43mm wide case steel and black. If I didn’t know better I would say the watch is cool – but only if you are a bad-boy type with an obese trust fund. Inside the watch is the Ulysse Nardin automatic caliber UN-26 movement with a power reserve indicator and subsidiary seconds hand. It also also been certified as a COSC chronometer. The hour and minute hands, as well as the hour markers are thick and easy to read. Certainly a unique and easy to love (or hate) watch. Original retail price was about $7,000 and prices now are somewhat more or less given the highly limited state of the watch
